About Author

Growing up, books were among my best friends. I loved being transported into other worlds where I could meet people from the past, present, and future, and learn more about myself and the world around me. My family moved frequently during my childhood, and being the eldest of four children with a chronically ill mother,  I often wrote to sort out the ups and downs of life.

Even as a young person, I realized the important impact an author could have on the minds and hearts of individuals and communities. I wrote long and often (with a stack of journals to prove it!) throughout middle school and highschool, and went on to earn a BA in English from Northwest University in Kirkland, WA.

My life's mission is to write with grace and dignity for the benefit of all people.

Now more than ever, writing affects our businesses, relationships, and everyday lives. I firmly believe that every piece of writing, be it an Instagram caption or a white paper, can be written with grace and dignity that informs and delights readers in an intelligent yet easy-to-understand manner! I hope my books can inspire and uplift, and that any content I create exudes character and excellence. Editing is great fun for me as I love to help others find their voice and write in a clear, effective manner.

My favorite authors are George MacDonald, C.S. Lewis, E.B. White, and Beverly Cleary. I have a soft spot for children's literature, historical fiction, steampunk, and sci-fi novels, but I'm also a sucker for a good biography!

Thank you for stopping by, keep reading!

Cheers,
